Can this REALLY be true?
Cannabis Study

According to an article by Theresa H.M.Moore, MSc, from the University of Bristoland colleagues published in the July 28 issueof The Lancet, systematic review oflongitudinal studies suggests there issufficient new evidence that the use ofcannabis (marijuana) increases the risk forlater psychotic illness by roughly 40%.

The study showed a trend towards anincreased risk for depression in people whohad used cannabis, but the evidence was notas strong.

Study author Stanley Zammit,PhD, from Cardiff University in Wales, saidthat individuals who used cannabis on aweekly or daily basis had about a 2 to 3-foldincrease in risk for psychotic outcomes.

Do you have elderly relatives?
The Wooden Bowl

A frail old man went to live with his son,daughter-in-law, and 4-year old grandson. The old man's hands trembled, his eyesightwas blurred, and his step faltered. Thefamily ate together at the table but theelderly grandfather's shaky hands and failingsight made eating difficult. Peas rolled offhis spoon onto the floor and when he graspedthe glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth.

The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess. "We must do something about father," said the son. "I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor." So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner.

Since Grandfatherhad broken some dishes, his food was servedin a wooden bowl. When the family glanced inGrandfather's direction, sometimes he had atear in his eye as he sat alone. The onlywords the couple had for him were sharpadmonitions when he dropped a fork or spilledfood. The 4-year-old watched all this, then, oneevening before dinner, the father noticed hisson playing with some pieces of wood on thefloor. He asked the boy, "What are youmaking?" and the boy replied, "Oh, I'm makinga couple of little bowls for you and Mama toeat your food from, when I grow up."

The four-year-old smiled and went back to work.

His words struck the parents so hard thatthey were speechless. Then tears started tostream down their cheeks. That evening thehusband took Grandfather's hand and gentlyled him back to the family table. For theremainder of his days he ateevery meal with the family, and neitherhusband nor wife seemed to care any longerwhether forks were dropped, milk spilled, ortablecloths soiled.

Another shocking revelation
How did this slip past the authorities?

A recent series of testing has revealed that professional wrestlers actually usesteroids! World WrestlingEntertainment consequently suspended tenwrestlers on August 30.

The study came some time after former World Heavyweight Champion Superstar Billy Graham admitted that steroid abuse led to his hip replacement, ankle fusion, spinal collapse that caused him to shrink 4 inches, and a liver transplant.

I'm just as surprised as you are.

Truism?

The saying goes that "when you point yourfinger at someone, three are pointing back atyou".

In the metaphorical sense, for every one finger you're pointing at someone else, one is pointing back at you.

Thecharacteristic that you dislike in someoneelse is the character trait that you haven'tlearned to love and accept in yourself.

"The Corporate Ninja helps you to empower yourself to become what you need to become so you can do what you're meant to do."

Stay focused!
